1905 The "Maschinenfabrik Paul Leistritz Company" is founded in Nuremberg. Production of blades for steam turbines started. Portrait: Paul Leistritz Portrait: Ruth Schaak-Leistritz
1924 Screw pumps, a new development at the time, incorporated into manufacturing programme.
1925 Product range extended to manufacturing of mufflers for motorcycles, automotives and stationary engines.
1937 The screw pump is enhanced and can now knead and mix tough materials. Extruders for plastics processing are later developed as a result.
1960 Acquisition of a plant in Furth / Stadeln and expansion of the production capacity.
1965 LEISTRITZ supplies hydraulic systems for elevator construction. They are produced in Bochum.
1973 The AMERICAN LEISTRITZ CORPORATION is founded to organise sales and service in the USA.
1975 Construcion of Pleystein plant. It undertakes production of machine tools, tools, mufflers and pipe components.
1986 LEISTRITZ Maschinenfabrik GmbH becomes a public limited company.
2001

LEISTRITZ AG is restructured. Five independent subsidiaries are formed:

LEISTRITZ PRODUKTIONSTECHNIK GMBH

2004 LEISTRITZ THOMMEN GMBH founded. Production of profile rolling machines and rolling tools.  
2005

The Leistritz AG in Nuremberg/Germany acquires from ThyssenKrupp Technologies the ThyssenKrupp Turbinenkomponenten GmbH in Remscheid and its US subsidiary Advanced Turbine Components, Inc. (ATC) in North Carolina/USA by October 2005.

The names of the new companies :

LEISTRITZ ADVANCED TURBINE COMPONENTS, INC.
