ZSE 18 HPe - new, highly efficient drive concept
The twin screw for use in labs and production of small batches
With the ZSE 18 HPe LEISTRITZ developped a lab scale extruder, which offers inexpensive and authentic operation conditions. Even for the production of small batches, the ZSE 18 HPe can be an alternative to larger machines. With throughputs from 200 g/h to 40 kg/h (for certain applications) this small extruder is quite amazing.
The technical layout of the ZSE 18 is state-of-the-art of today's twin screw technology:
- modular processing unit,
- heating via highly effective heating cartridge technology,
- intensive barrel cooling (ZIK),
- micro processor control with an optimum amount of features,
- high torque density,
- new, highly efficient drive concept.
